忘了我是谁 离家10年…警助团圆

10年前有智能障碍、无法自理生活的马姓男子,离家后成为忘记自我身分的游民,被安置后取名「社游宝」;就在家人几乎放弃寻找时,海山警分局户口组巡佐蔡淑女比对失踪人口指纹,前天协助他们团圆。

「活着相见,更幸福!」蔡淑女除了是无名尸比对高手,3年来更乐意争取比对街友与失踪人口身分,让他们活着回家。

最年轻的诺贝尔和平奖得主

挪威诺贝尔委员会10月10日宣布,将2014年诺贝尔和平奖授予17岁的巴基斯坦女生玛拉拉·尤萨夫扎伊(Malala Yousafzay)和印度儿童人权活动家凯拉什·萨蒂亚尔蒂,以表彰他们在推动儿童权益上的贡献。

挪威诺贝尔委员会在一份声明中说,授予玛拉拉和萨蒂亚尔蒂诺贝尔和平奖的原因是“他们为儿童和青少年受压迫而斗争,并争取所有儿童能够获得教育”。

76岁的医生杜英吉行医半世纪,获得中华民国医师公会全国联合会表扬50年行医奖。他目前是屏东现在还在执业年纪最大的耳鼻喉科医生,行医多年时常帮助穷人。他说,当医生对他来说就是「尊重生命」的实践,希望能做到不能做为止。

Needy get unsold goods at a low cost

France’s L’Agence du Don en Nature (ADN) has made its mark as a force for social innovation.

The agency goes to firms and collects unsold products scheduled for destruction for all sorts of reasons – discontinued lines and damaged packaging, for example – and sells them at a fraction of the cost to needy people.
